Actress Tia Mowry, in a recent interview with US Magazine, exclaimed that she can’t believe that her firstborn son Cree is already 11 months old. The actress lamented that is she feels so melancoly just about his first year cruising by….that she can’t handle the thought of him eventually leaving home at 18.

Tia is currently helping her twin sister Tamera prepare for the birth of her first child.  That might mean giving her sis a personalized copy of her new book Oh, Baby!: Pregnancy Tales and Advice From One Hot Mama to Another.

When she was pregnant Tia found that many of the existing pregnancy books on the market were very medical in nature and focused too much on pregnancy mishaps. Something, the actress did not want to be reminded of as she was already anxious. Tia believed that pregnant women could also benefit by a book that offered pregnancy advice “that was informative, fun, comedic and kind of coming from a girlfriend’s perspective.” she told US Magazine. So after Cree was born she wrote that book!

Tia’s book has succeeded in being that breezy, comical but actually informative book that pregnant women will love. There is no doubt that you will find yourself laughing as you quickly turn the pages. This pregnancy advice book even contains helpful maternity fashion advice—- drawn from Tia’s need to keep her baby bump glamorous while toddling Hollywood

We think that it is important to read several pregnancy books while expecting. The medically centered guidebooks play an important part in educating you about how a typical pregnancy progresses and what variances are cause for concern. But, it is also just plain fun to read first hand accounts of pregnancy that commiserate the joy, concerns and humorous oddities of expecting. And when those tales come from a charming celeb it makes it an even more enjoyable read.
